While his pace slightly increased to 9:09 min/mile and 9:15 min/mile in subsequent splits, this minor slowdown only led to a modest drop in position. A key highlight was his ability to maintain an even pace throughout the race, with an overall average of 8:58 min/mile. Benjamins performance was solid, placing 104th in the Men's 30-34 division out of a total 867 male participants. His finish time was 27:49 in a competitive field of 6521 participants.
