She completed the race with an overall time of 40:57, achieving an average pace of 13:12 min/mile over the 3.1-mile course. At just nine years old and hailing from Portland, OR, Greta performed impressively in her age division, placing 129th in the Female Under 15 category out of over 6,500 participants. A closer look at Gretas splits reveals a strong second mile. After starting with a pace of 20:08 min/mile in the first mile, Greta accelerated dramatically in the second mile to a pace of 7:26 min/mile, significantly improving her overall position from 4,696th to 3,086th.
