Notably, she finished 113th in her gender category and claimed 19th place in her division, F35-39, demonstrating strong competitiveness within her age group. Lizs performance in the second mile was exceptional, clocking a swift 4:43 split time. The event started steadily for Liz, completing the first mile at 12:10 min/mile pace. However, she significantly improved her pace in the subsequent miles. The second mile was the highlight of her race, where she propelled herself forward, climbing to 59th in her gender and 10th in her division. For future races, maintaining a consistently faster pace throughout could result in even better placement. Encouraging work, and the mid-race acceleration was a vital strategy.
