Consistent Pace in a Competitive Field In the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota, Nolan Maxfield maintained a strong and consistent pace throughout his 5K run. Despite being just 11 years old, Nolan showcased impressive splits. He began with a swift 7:05-minute mile, dropping slightly in the second mile to 7:31, and concluded with a solid 7:25, averaging a pace of 7:19 per mile. His performance earned him 18th place within his MUnder 15 division, which is a commendable achievement in such a large race, featuring 6,521 participants. His initial mile pace ranked him 13th in his division, highlighting his strong start. By the second mile, he improved to 9th place but eventually finished 18th. Overall, Nolan's determination and ability to maintain a relatively steady pace throughout the course reflect well on his racing capabilities.
