Notably, she began strong with a first-mile pace of 8:14. She hit a brief period of lower speeds at the second mile, clocking a split of 10:05. Despite this, Tracy demonstrated resilience, clocking her fastest mile, 6:23, in the third segment. This strong performance saw her land in the top 25 in her age division multiple times, peaking at 15th during the third mile. Overall pacing was strong, maintaining an impressive consistency, particularly through miles 4 to 7. However, a strategic focus could be placed on sustaining that remarkable sub-8-minute spike noted in mile 3, more consistently throughout the race.
