Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Isaiah Vaughn maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. Starting off with a mile pace of 9:25, Isaiah improved steadily, fastest at mile 10 with a split time of 7:56. His overall pace improved to 8:59 min/mile by mile 13, showcasing impressive endurance and strength. Isaiah's final time was 1:57:46, placing him in the upper quarter of his division, with a rank of 170th out of 186. Notably, he climbed from 137th to 170th from the very first mile to the middle of the race but quickly made adjustments, finishing strong. With consistent paces typical in the 8:58-9:25 min/mile range, the strategic energy conservation in earlier splits paid off towards the end. Adjusting the pace maintenance strategy in mile 8 and sustaining lower split times can boost Isaiah's future performances.
