Consistent Effort Showcased in Steady Splits In the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 5K, Zachary maintained a steady performance throughout the race. Starting with a 10:23 min/mile pace during the first mile, he strategically improved to a 10:02 min/mile in the second. Although the final mile saw a slight decrease to an 11:19 min/mile pace, Zachary ended with an overall pace of 10:33 min/mile, completing the 5K in 32:44. Highlights include a noticeable push in the second mile, where his split pace improved, suggesting positive momentum. He finished 107th in the M20-24 division, indicating a solid effort in his age group. While Zachary's ability to maintain a consistent pace is commendable, focusing on sustaining the earlier improved pace might further enhance performance.
