Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Diego completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with a total time of 1:52:00, maintaining an average pace of 8:33 min/mile. Diego's performance showcased consistency, especially in the last quarter of the race, where he displayed an improving pace from mile 10 to the finish line, significantly cutting down his mile 13 pace to 7:48 min/mile. He demonstrated a strong finish, as evidenced by his final mile being one of the fastest overall. Diego placed 1016th overall out of 4421 participants, while finishing 786th among the male competitors and 163rd in the M25-29 division. Interestingly, despite some fluctuating paces, particularly between miles 1 and 2, Diego managed to consistently improve his position, showcasing determination and resilience.
