Consistent Pace with an Impressive Division Climb In the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest, Kim Nomensen represented Helensview and showcased notable pacing skills. Starting with a steady 11:44 min/mile in the first mile, Kim improved her pace to 10:50 min/mile in the second split, resulting in a time of 22:33 at the two-mile mark. Her overall pace consistency is evident as she maintained an even 10:56 min/mile in the final segment. The race saw Kim finishing the 5K with a total elapsed time of 34:30 and an average pace of 11:07 min/mile. Most impressively, she climbed from 78th to 53rd place within her F45-49 division during the first two miles! Encouragingly, there's room to improve placement in the third mile, as her division rank dropped to 84th. Working on sustained speed in the latter part of the race could see these ranks improve further.
