Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Brianna Richards maintained a consistent split pace in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. Starting with a 9:53 min/mile, she gradually improved to a steady 9:25 min/mile by mile three. Brianna's pace was consistent in the mid-section of the race, hovering around 9:20 to 9:36 min/mile up to mile seven. In miles eight and nine, the pace slowed slightly to around 11:20 and 9:41 min/mile respectively but showed resilience by tightening up to a 9:14 min/mile at mile ten. Despite facing a decrease in pace during the eighth mile, Brianna managed a strong finish with a final split of 9:10 min/mile for mile thirteen. Her overall time was 2:06:43, with an average pace of 9:40 min/mile. Notably, Brianna improved her positioning relative to other participants in her division during the race, particularly up to the finish. Continuing to focus on pacing through middle and later miles would be beneficial.
