Strong Middle Performance and Steady Finish Yunnuen Olvera delivered an interesting performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 5K. After a cautious start with her first mile at 15:56, she made a remarkable improvement on the second mile, clocking in at 6:05a significant reduction in pace and gaining substantial ground in position, moving from 3986th to 1516th overall. The third mile saw a slight drop in pace to 11:24, resulting in a final race time of 34:26 for the 3.1 miles. Maintaining an overall pace of 11:06 min/mile, Yunnuen finished 249th in her division (F25-29) and 1155th among females. Her split in the second mile shows potential and demonstrates her ability to perform well when picking up the pace. Going forward, focusing on starting slightly stronger and maintaining consistent momentum through the last mile could enhance overall performance.
