Consistent Pacing with Strong Comeback Finish! Karen Rosales of Salem, OR, participated in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. Her strong, consistent pacing highlighted her performance, finishing with an overall time of 2:02:42. Karen's initial mile was clocked at 9:53 min/mile, but she improved her pace, hitting sub-9-minute paces during various points in the race. Her mile 2 through 5 splits were particularly consistent, all under 9 minutes. In terms of placement within her division (F30-34), she hovered around the mid-100s throughout the race, showing solid performance among her peers. The standout moment was her final mile, completed in 8:40 min/mile, a terrific comeback after a challenging 8th mile split of 11:11 min/mile. As part of Team Cruzaders, her overall dedication and the ability to regain momentum post challenging miles are commendable. For further improvement, maintaining that strong end-pace earlier could elevate her overall timing.
