Consistent Pacing with Strong Early Splits Ismael began the race with a strong start, clocking his first mile at an 8:37 min/mile pace. By the second mile, he slightly increased his speed to 8:31 min/mile and reached his best split time during the third mile with an impressive 8:29 min/mile pace, which placed him 3rd in the M50-54 divisiona commendable achievement. Post the third mile, a gradual decline in pace occurred, with the 6th to 8th miles registering a slowdown, the 8th mile being the slowest at 10:37. However, Ismael managed a slight recovery towards the end with a closing mile pace of 9:13 min/mile. He finished the half marathon in 1:58:44, maintaining an average pace of 9:03 min/mile.
