Consistent Mid-Race Performance Enhances Standing Jonathan Theiss showcased an impressive performance during the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 5K, with a noteworthy improvement in pace and placement at the second mile mark. Starting with an initial split of 8:16 per mile, Jonathan demonstrated a strong mid-race acceleration, achieving a 7:27-minute split in the second mile. This effort moved him from 365th overall to an impressive 167th overall standing during this segment. Ultimately, Jonathan crossed the finish line with an overall average pace of 7:42 per mile and an official time of 23:54. Ending the race in 310th overall and 25th in his division for M40-44, his ability to maintain a steady improvement from the first to the third mile is commendable.
