Consistent Start with a Strong Finish Bahar Oguzertem maintained a consistent pace in the early miles, starting with a 9:39 min/mile in the first mile and maintaining a pace under 9:40 min/mile through the first 3 miles. Initial placements were strong, holding 15th in her division with a consistent pace. The first five miles showed stable pacing, averaging around 9:40 min/mile, before a slight slowdown appeared in the middle miles. In the latter half of the race, Bahars splits varied, with slower paces recorded as low as 12:38 min/mile by mile 8. However, she demonstrated resilience, improving her pace significantly towards the end, recording a remarkable 9:17 min/mile at mile 13. Crossing the finish line with an overall time of 2:13:57 and maintaining an average pace of 10:13 min/mile, Bahar showed strong potential, especially with the excellent push in the final mile. Fine-tuning mid-race pacing could enhance future performances.
