Consistent Improvement Through the Splits Annette Kendall completed the 5K race at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest with a final official time of 27:02, maintaining an average pace of 8:43 min/mile. Her pacing demonstrated a strong consistent rhythm, evidenced by her improving split times over the course of the race. Notably, she accelerated her pace with each mile, starting with 8:59 min/mile and finishing with a swift 8:27 min/mile on her third split. This performance placed her 17th in her age division (F40-44) out of a competitive field. Annette showed a steady climb in placement as well, improving her overall position from 578th after the first mile to 481st at the second mile. She represented the PaceWest team with determination, finishing as the 157th woman overall among 6,521 participants. To further capitalize on her rising pace, maintaining or slightly increasing the starting speed could optimize her overall performance in future events. Well done, Annette!
