Strong Improvement and Excellent Division Placement in Second Mile Chris began the race with a first mile paced at 12:29 min/mile, ranking 2665th overall. A notable turn happened in the second mile, where his split time was a swift 4:43, the pace improved dramatically to 4:43 min/mile. This impressive surge boosted him to 357th overall position and an admirable 27th in his division, demonstrating strong pacing ability and endurance. Throughout the race, Chris maintained a commendable average pace of 8:25 min/mile, finishing the 5K in 26:07. His final position was 557th among 6521 participants, and 47th out of those competing in the M40-44 age division. Chris's performance during the middle of the race is a testament to his capability to advance rapidly and manage the race effectively.
