Consistent Pace with Opportunities for Strategic Gains Tyson Tuski, a 12-year-old from Tigard, Oregon, delivered a steady performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 5K. Representing the Bowerman Track Club, Tyson maintained an impressive average pace of 7:19 min/mile, completing the race in 22:41. His initial mile saw him at a brisk 7:15 pace, placing 176th overall, before settling slightly in subsequent splits. Notably, his second mile was completed in 7:26, an area where he might focus on maintaining his initial intensity. Tyson's ability to quickly regain momentum in the third mile with a 7:16 pace is commendable. Within his division, Tyson consistently ranked in the top 20, finishing 17th in the MUnder 15 category. Throughout the race, Tyson moved up in rankings, especially in the second segment where he improved his placement significantly.
