Consistent Effort with Slight Variations Hung Ma participated in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota, completing the half marathon in a time of 2:27:11 with an average pace of 11:14 min/mile. Throughout the race, Hung exhibited a relatively stable pace with slight fluctuations. The quickest split was recorded during mile 3 at 10:26 min/mile, indicating a strong early effort. Additionally, mile 5 demonstrated consistency with another sub-11-minute pace at 10:37 min/mile. Towards the end, there was a noticeable slowdown during mile 8 with the slowest pace recorded at 12:39 min/mile, which affected the overall rhythm. Despite this, the subsequent miles showed recovery with splits returning to just over 11 minutes per mile. Finishing 3076th overall among 4421 participants, 1930th in the men's category, and 296th in the M35-39 age division reflects a commendable performance. Focusing on maintaining a more uniform pace could further enhance race strategy.
