Strong Surge and a Second in Division Luke's performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest was commendable, completing the Half Marathon with a total time of 1:14:37, averaging a pace of 5:41 minutes per mile. His most impressive splits were in the latter part of the race, with a final mile executed at a swift 5:12 pace, to secure 11th place. Luke maintained a strong placement in the Male 20-24 division, finishing 2nd. A standout moment was between miles 11 and 12, where Luke achieved his fastest split at 5:17 min/mile, showing strong endurance. The first mile was paced at 6:00 min/mile, with increased speed maintained throughout, peaking during the 12th mile. Finishing 14th overall out of 4421 participants is a significant accomplishment. Focusing on consistency in the middle miles could help elevate his overall placement in future races. Great job, Luke!
