Strong Start and Consistent Pace in Age Group Melissa Federspiel showcased a strong performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest, completing the 5K run with an overall time of 20:31. Holding a consistent average pace of 6:37 min/mile, Melissa excelled in her age division (F45-49), securing the top spot in the first mile with a 6:19 split pace. Her 11th place finish among women in the initial mile indicates a competitive start. As the race progressed, Melissa maintained her pace, placing 2nd in her division for the remaining splits. Her time at miles two and three was slightly steadier at 6:48 and 6:46 respectively, illustrating endurance and consistency. She concluded the race in the impressive 17th position among women out of 6521 total participants. Continued focus on maintaining the initial pace could further strengthen future performances.
