Strong Mid-Race Surge Highlights Performance Eli Federspiel delivered a notable performance in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 5K, finishing with an overall time of 30:30 and maintaining an average pace of 9:50 min/mile. Racing with the Evergreen Run Club PDX, Eli achieved a 111th position in the MUnder 15 division out of 167. A key highlight was the improved pacing strategy demonstrated in the second mile. The initial mile set a pace of 13:50 min/mile, placing 3311th overall, before Eli significantly increased speed to 6:54 min/mile in the second split, dramatically improving his position to 1234th. Maintaining this momentum, the final mile pace was 8:50 min/mile, securing a finish in the top third of competitors.
