Impressive Mid-Race Surge and Strong Finish Callie McCoun participated in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota in the 5K Run event. Her performance displayed an impressive surge after the first mile. Starting with a pace of 14:54 min/mile, she significantly improved in the second mile with a split pace of 6:18 min/mile. This marked a dramatic leap in position, soaring from 3678th to 1437th overall. In the final stretch, her pace settled at 9:22 min/mile, wrapping up the race with an overall elapsed pace of 10:09 min/mile and an official time of 31:29. Although her positioning saw a slight drop to 1828th overall, the effort shows remarkable adaptability and resilience. Callie finished 98th in the F20-24 age group, out of 6521 participants.
