Consistently Solid Performance with a Strong Finish Sumit maintained a steady pace throughout the race, finishing the 5K in 20:48 with an overall elapsed pace of 6:42 min/mile. Across each mile, Sumit showed remarkable consistency with split times of 6:40, 6:45, and 6:47 respectively. This consistency in pacing is commendable. Sumit finished 8th in the Male 40-44 division out of a competitive field. Notably, Sumit improved his position within his division from 7th at mile 1 to 6th by mile 2, indicating a strong push in the middle of the race. Focus on maintaining the same competitive edge in the latter stages could be beneficial for future races. Keep up the excellent consistency and consider slight strategic adjustments for the latter part of the race.
