Steady Pace with Strong Mid-Race Surge Gustavo Guillemin, racing in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, executed a pace-focused race, completing the 13.1 miles with an overall time of 1:59:27. He maintained an average pace of 9:07 min/mile, positioning him overall 1558th among 4421 participants and 38th in the M55-59 division. Noteworthy was his split between miles 2 and 3 where he clocked a swift 6:10 min/mile, briefly improving his position significantly. While his average pace saw minor increases throughout, there was consistency in maintaining sub-10:00 min/mile splits. From an analytical perspective, focusing on even pace distribution in the early and late miles may help maintain stronger overall performance. Placement improved within the M55-59 division on several occasions, suggesting potential gains with strategic adjustments.
