Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Erin Averill completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 5K with a total elapsed time of 42:11 and an overall pace of 13:36 min/mile. She maintained a steady start with the first mile completed in 12:40, which is impressive. This placed her 2761st overall and 160th in her F40-44 division. During the second mile, her pace slowed slightly to 13:10 min/mile, yet she improved her overall placement to 2734, a good sign of maintaining position in the field. The third mile presented a challenge with her pace slowing to 15:09 min/mile, leading to an overall placement of 4446. A focus on stamina to sustain a steady pace in the latter stages could be beneficial for future races. The AH Pipsters team should be proud of her determination and efforts throughout the race.
