Consistent Performance with Strong Second Half David Grizhinku of Vancouver, WA, representing Reveal Run Club, finished the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with an overall time of 1:39:01 and an average pace of 7:33 min/mile. Notably, David improved his pace in the latter half of the race after a challenging start, clocking his fastest split during the final mile with a time of 7:06 min/mile. Initially, David maintained a brisk pace, with a standout second-mile split of 6:59 min/mile, showing excellent potential. Although there was a temporary slowdown between miles six and eight, he demonstrated resilience and maintained a strong finish. With minor adjustments in pacing approach, particularly during the middle miles where splits averaged above 8:00 min/mile, David can capitalize on his strong finish to improve future performances. His final ranking was 297th male overall and 32nd in the M20-24 division, reflecting a solid effort among a large field of 4,421 participants.
