By the second mile, he improved to a 4:39 pace, climbing significantly to 465 overall and 23rd in his division. In the third mile, William maintained a calculated 8:14 pace, finishing the race with an overall time of 26:51 at an 8:39 pace. Notably, he secured the 40th spot in the M20-24 division out of 6521 total participants. Maintaining this momentum and starting stronger could improve overall placing. His results illustrate a commendable recovery showing potential for more consistent performance in future races.
