Steady Progression with a Strong Finish Claudia Cardenas from Hillsboro, OR, completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with a total time of 2:07:03, maintaining an overall average pace of 9:41 min/mile. Representing the Rock Creek Run Club, Claudia was consistent through the early miles, noted by her stable split paces around the 9:30 min/mile mark. Of particular note is her impressive division finish at 49th place in the F45-49 category, a highlight within a competitive field of 4421 participants. Her early performance shone in the second and third miles, clocking a consistent 9:18 min/mile pace, placing her among the top six in her division. Although the pace dropped in the middle of the race, an impressive closing split of 8:23 min/mile in the final mile reveals exceptional endurance and capability for maintaining speed.
