Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Thomas Frith exhibited a solid pacing strategy through the first half of his race, maintaining a consistent pace of approximately 9:32 to 9:40 min/mile over the first five miles. His performance showed stable placements within his division and overall rankings, starting at 171st in his M25-29 division and 1133rd overall. In the latter stages, the pace started to increase, peaking with a 12:41 min/mile during mile 8. Although the pace slowed, Thomas finished with a strong last mile in 10:14 min/mile which suggests a commendable recovery to end the race on a positive note. His final placement was 372nd in the M25-29 division out of 4421 total participants, highlighting room for steady in-race pacing. Working on maintaining the initial consistency throughout could enhance overall performance in future events. Excellent effort representing the OHSU Doernbecher Heroes team!
