Consistent Performance with Strong Mid-Race Gains Mikayla Hill maintained a steady pace during the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, completing the 13.1 miles with an elapsed time of 1:55:54, averaging an 8:50 min/mile pace. An impressive mid-race surge was evident, particularly between miles 2 and 4, where her pace improved to around 8:29 min/mile, significantly climbing in her division ranking from 42nd to 4th place. This strategic pacing may have contributed to her overall success. However, Mikayla experienced a slight decline in pace around miles 6 to 8, resulting in a shift in her division ranking, moving to 63rd place. Throughout the race, she demonstrated the ability to recover, finishing strong with an improved pace of 8:30 min/mile in the final mile. Given her strong mid-race performance, focusing on maintaining this consistency could help further enhance her final standings. Excellent effort as part of the F45 Portland team, with ample potential for future races.
