Strong Division Performance with Consistent Pacing Tyler Shirley executed an impressive run at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest, particularly shining in his M35-39 division with a first-place finish. His pacing was admirably steady, with a consistent performance over the 5K course. Tyler began the race with a swift 5:11 min/mile for the first mile, maintaining a similar pace over the first two miles. Despite a slight decrease in speed, his final split was clocked at a respectable 5:24 min/mile. These splits show Tyler's ability to maintain a high competitive level throughout the race. Overall, Tyler completed the 5K with a time of 16:21, achieving a 5:16 min/mile average pace and securing the 6th position overall out of 6,521 participants.
