Consistent and Strong Performance with Impressive Splits Miguel Rios Valdez completed the half marathon with a total time of 1:14:40, maintaining a steady average pace of 5:42 min/mile throughout. Particularly notable was his performance in the fourth mile, achieving the division lead with a swift 5:31. He showed impressive consistency, notably holding a top 10 position overall for the majority of the race, even moving up to 7th in the third and fourth miles. Noteworthy is the negative split at mile 12, where he ran a rapid 5:18, indicating an impressive late-race surge. While the eighth mile showed a slowdown with a 6:43 pace, Miguel effectively rebounded in subsequent miles.
