Consistent Pacing with a Slight Dip Jonathan Straus maintained a solid overall performance during the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 8K. Starting with a split pace of 7:45 min/mile, he progressively varied his splits, clocking in a fastest split of 7:42 min/mile at mile 2. Notably, Jonathan managed to improve his overall standing with a position of 268 by mile 3 before slightly dropping back. His average pace of 7:48 min/mile over the 4.97 miles is commendable. In his age group (M35-39), Jonathan ranked particularly well at mile 3 with a strong 25th place. Throughout the race, he showed resilienceespecially notable was his recovery to a sub-8-minute split in the final stretch.
