Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish David Dang completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon in a time of 1:32:40. His overall pace was a highly consistent 7:04 min/mile. Notably, David demonstrated impressive splits at miles 9 and 10, clocking in at 6:40 and 6:24 min/mile respectively. This pace uptick is an excellent indication of his strong finish. Throughout the race, his pace deviated only slightly, illustrating solid pacing strategy in various miles. While his overall and division positions fluctuated, David maintained consistent placement in the upper percentage of his age division, M30-34, settling in at 48th place by the finish. David improved his overall ranking from as low as 184th up to 146th at one point, showing competitiveness and determination. Continuing to work on maintaining that mid-race speed seen in the early splits could be a valuable focus for future races. Keep up the solid effort, David!
