Consistent Pacing Leads to Strong Finish Brock Anderson showcased a solid performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest in the half marathon. Starting with an initial pace of 8:30 min/mile, Anderson experienced a slowdown in the second split with a pace of 14:03 min/mile. However, he quickly regained momentum towards the end, achieving a notable finish with a 6:54 min/mile for the final mile. He showed a strong ability to recover and improve efficiency, finishing with an average pace of 7:44 min/mile. Maintaining an advancing position throughout, Anderson began at 648th and strategically worked up to 435th overall by the finish. Within his division (M35-39), he moved from 80th to end in 67th place. The steady increase in pace and improvement in rankings is commendable, though consistency in the early miles might help avoid initial pace drops.
