Strong Start with Consistent Recovery Pace Sergio kicked off the race with a solid 6:42 pace for the first mile, ranking 82nd overall. Notably, his pace fluctuated slightly but he managed to maintain a sub-7:00 pace for most of the initial half. Around Mile 7, the pace incrementally increased to 7:54, resulting in a temporary drop in overall position to 139th. However, Sergio swiftly adapted and regained pace by Mile 10, recording a 6:38 split. In the final stretch, Sergio demonstrated impressive recovery by accelerating to a 6:21 pace in the last mile. This strategic push helped secure an overall 166th place finish with a respectable time of 1:32:31. Representing the Out Of Office Running Dept., Sergio's performance in the M30-34 division saw tighter competition, with a final standing of 47th. Focusing on consistent pacing through miles 6-8 could improve his competitive edge further. Continue building on that strong sprint finish!
